center of the province of lower Pannonia and a camp of a roman legion. The medieval Buda became a royal castle in 1247
and soon was chosen for Kingdom of Hungary's capital. The nowadays Budapest was formed in 1873 with the unification of
Danube right-bank city Buda and city Pest on the left bank. Budapest is known as one of the European cultural centers
